Webinar Series on Expanding Contraceptive Choice for Adolescents and Youth to Include Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives: Key Learnings and Global Reach
This fact sheet details the discussed topics and key takeaways of a four-part webinar series on expanding contraceptive choice to include long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARCs) for youth, held from March-September 2017. This webinar series engaged a global audience through presentations from high-level speakers representing multiple sectors and showcased the perspective and experience of health providers, professional associations, young people, health systems specialists, researchers, and donors in advocating for and implementing programs that expand method choice to include LARCs for adolescents and youth. The Evidence to Action (E2A) Project organized this webinar series as part of the LARC for Youth Working Group. The Working Group—which consists of representatives from USAID, Pathfinder International, E2A, FHI360, FP2020, Marie Stopes International, and Population Services International—is charged with moving forward the Global Consensus Statement: Expanding Contraceptive Choice for Adolescents and Youth to Include Long-Acting Reversible Contraception.
