March 27, 2015

E2A recently published an assessment of the mCenas! project in Mozambique, which was led by Pathfinder International. E2A assessed the comprehensive text message-based component of the project with reached young people 15-24 with information about sexual and reproductive health. The study provides evidence on whether mCenas! was acceptable and had an impact on the knowledge, attitudes, and self-efficacy of male and female youth related to contraception in Mozambique. Findings will be used to inform future programs about the use of SMS to deliver sexual and reproductive health information to young people.
