Fariyal Fikree, Senior Research Advisor

Fariyal Fikree is an internationally recognized researcher, educator, and advocate for reproductive health—with specific expertise in family planning, and maternal and newborn health. She has over 25 years’ experience designing, implementing, and evaluating health programs. Fariyal is E2A’s Senior Research Advisor. Previously, she was the Senior Director of Global Health at the Population Reference Bureau, International Division, and the Director of Regional Health Programs at Population Council, West Asia and North Africa. Fariyal has her Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health in International Health. She has her DrPH from Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health in Population Dynamics.
